With an array of products and services, Baxi is uniquely positioned in the District Energy sector as the UK transitions away from fossil fuels, towards its goal of net zero by 2050. Baxi trains and certifies about 7,000 heating engineers across multiple technologies at three regional training centres and 13 satellite training centres annually. Two of Baxi’s training centres have recently been selected to deliver the practical elements of the DESNZ funded, BESA Managed, Heat Network Installation and Maintenance Course, recently developed in collaboration with MEHNA and TIKA. In 2024, doubled the capacity of our Warwick facility, to train 1,600 installers and technicians annually, reflecting the anticipated demand for a skilled, dedicated workforce to help the UK transition to new heat and hot water provision. The Baxi Customer Support team includes a national on-the-road network of around 300 factory trained heating engineers and a technical helpline staffed by 18 experienced service engineers. Our support team is recognised as “Excellent” by contributing consumers to Trustpilot and maintains a net promoter score of 95% amongst its installer customers. These levels of performance will help Baxi set new standards and deliver the higher customer service levels that will be an inevitable consequence of the appointment of Ofgem as the sector’s regulator from 2025.
