Our  decades of experience covers the planning, establishment and design of new systems, optimisation and extension of existing networks, and renewal and replacement of worn-out or outmoded pipeline systems.

Our team currently have Technical Advisory and Owner’s Engineer roles for some of the most significant District Heating Low Carbon Heat projects in progress in Denmark, the UK and Ireland.

• Energy Masterplanning – We can carry out a full overview of supply area and potential heat sources and identify opportunities to maximise resources, optimising the capacity of proposed heating systems.
• Hydraulic calculations – We have in-house capability to carry out calculation of heat load, pipe sizing to carry the required thermal capacity, manage pressure loss, pressure gradients and differential pressure. Determining pump sizes and capacities, accounting for thermal expansion, and balancing the flow across different branches.
• Detailed Design – Design of full network layout, connections and sizing, selection of appropriate components, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Tender support – We can provide full life cycle support for all commercial and procurement requirements. We can provide value by assuring and challenging procurement approaches, using our extensive market knowledge to enable better decision making.
• Construction Management & Supervision – We have expertise and staff to deliver construction and site supervision, ensuring adherence to H&S requirements as well as technical project delivery requirements.
