The Bradford Energy Network (BEN) is a new, privately owned, low carbon heat network project being developed by Bradford Energy Limited (BEL), a subsidiary of 1Energy Group. The first phase of the £70m project will deliver 60 GWh of heat annually to 19 buildings (tbc) when it starts operating in summer 2026, extending to 76 buildings in the longer term. BEL is seeking to appoint a water treatment supplier & partner for the network. The appointed water treatment supplier will have sole responsibility for design, installation, testing and pre-commissioning of the water treatment system. And they will be responsible for the monitoring and maintaining the water quality in a fixed term O&M contract as well.
